Raven from Fantomorphia

This is an amazing illustration from the book Fantomorphia by Kerby Rosanes. I took my time to finish, there are many details. The challenge was to find colour combinations that would make the leaves come out and not blend in with the background. I mostly chose cool tones – many blues and greens. I used Pablo pencils in the drawing. The background was completed with Derwent Coloursoft. Instead of using a white pen like Posca to highlight the feathers, I simply left that part white. I guess it works. I had fun colouring this page!
