This double page drawing from the book Dromenvanger was a challenge. It took me some time to complete it, but here it is! I used mostly Polychromos FB and some of the more saturated colours are done with Luminance from Caran d’Ache, in particular the red tonalities. I’ve found my “perfect red” in the pencil 061 permanent red, from this set. The bird is also all coloured with Luminance pencils. Finishing touches with Posca pens. The difficulty for me here was the meeting of pages in the middle. I’m not completely satisfied with that part, as the folding is quite noticeable. But we can’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good :D, and the pages look colourful and bright as I wanted, so I’m happy with this one.
