This is a double page from the book Daydreams by Hanna Karlzon. I had so much fun colouring this page!

In the illustration, I used Derwent Coloursoft and Polychromos Faber-Castell. To create the background, I used Mungyo Soft pastels. When using soft pastels, you need a fixative to keep the pigment in place. In this page I used a spray, so I had to cover the part coloured with pencils to protect it from the spray. Some fixatives may alter the pencil’s pigment and colour. To be in the safe side, always test in a separate piece of paper. To complete, I used Posca Pens for little details.
