If you don’t have the exact pencil colour listed above, try to use tonalities that are similar. I coloured my Sunset Bird example with Polychromos Faber-Castell. The background was done with Mungyo Gallery Soft Pastels and little details with a white Posca Pen.

Here’s a list of the pencils I used:

  • Light Blue: Light Cobalt Turquoise 9201-154
  • Red: Alizarin Crimson 9201-226
  • Dark Pink: Fuchsia 9201-123
  • Violet: Violet 9201-138
  • Cobalt Blue: Cobalt Blue Greenish 9201-144
  • Pink: Pink Madder Lake 9201-129

To print my charts and drawings, I use card stock (110 lb – 199g/m2), acid free, letter size (8 1/2″ x 11″ – 21.6 cm x 27.9 cm). I also try to look for paper that is green friendly and is part recycled. Here some examples of card stock: Neenah, Springhill and Neenah Cardstock.
